Brogan Trophy - Format

The Brogan Trophy is a Strokeplay Competition run in conjunction with Wishaw Golf Club.  This year the competition takes place on Saturday June 26^th.  The competition is split in to 2 classes (1^st & 2^nd) and one class plays at each course on alternate years.  This year the 1^st class players play at Colville Park with the 2^nd class at Wishaw.  Classes are based on Handicap Index (HCI) and are up to 14.4 for 1^st class and 14.5 to 36.4 for 2^nd class.

 

The booking of tee times will be online for 1^st class Colville Park members and the sheet will open at 1pm on Sunday June 20^th.  Some slots have already been allocated to Wishaw members. 

The booking of tee times will be online for 2^nd class Colville Park members (playing at Wishaw) and the sheet will open at 3pm on Sunday June 20^th.  Half of the slots on the sheet will be reserved for Wishaw members.  Select the 2^nd class Brogan when booking and ignore the fact that the date on the sheet is July 26^th and not June 26th.

On the day the entry fee will be £2 with optional sweep and 2s (£2) being operated at Colville Park.  Entry fee at Wishaw will also be £2 and optional sweep and 2s may be available.

NB the competition is also open to members of SGU affiliated golf clubs who reside within the burgh of Motherwell & Wishaw and hold a current HCI.  These players can apply for a tee time by emailing cpgcmatchsec@outlook.com (1^st Class) or bernardhoey@icloud.com (2^nd class).
